View Full Version : symptoms people are having after having there gallbladder taken out

my daughter is 12 she had her gallbladder removed 2 years ago.she has dso much better.then 3 months ago she began having severe pain in her left side up high than it moved to her right side.she is sick at her stomache ,it hurts when she walks , she gets sick just with a little vomit after she eats. she eats and a few minutes later it comes up.

They put her in the hospital & rat childrens hospital n every test that could be run.everything came up neg. she was on morphine for a week at childrens .then we went to Vanderbilt in nashville for a week again same thing .she will not lay on her right side at all ,this is the side she has always layed on ,the docters said it was oin her head that she needed a thearpist I was so mad they don't know her at all she is always playing laughing ,running & just being her beautiful self it really has hurt her to know the doctors think shes making it up I know shes not it's hard to watch your daughter hurt & not beable to help her.

her ped doc has been great but hes running out othink so.f ideas he thinks it might be stomache migranes but I don't . He took her off all of her pain med but increased one of her hedache med.please can someone give us some answers ,has anyone had these symptoms.
