I am posting this on behalf of a friend.
About a month and 1/2 ago a close friend had to be taken to the hospital. She was in extreme abdominal pain. Once she got there they did little for her and told her it was just bad PMS pain. And sent her home. 2 days later she was back once again in worse pain then before. This time they say its PID but no known cause for it. They send her home with antibotics and pain killers.
She was still in huge amounts of pain and pain killers are not touching it. She is in and out of the ER with no known reason for the pain. She finally gets in with a doctor. They suspect Endo and do a cat scan. It comes back fine. They are referring her to a Gyno but can not get in till the 13th. Here is her list of symptoms:
1: extreme pain with or without her period.
2: the pain will stop for a day or so but if she gets stressed it comes back full force.
3: when she has a bowel movement she literally has to move organs around in her belly to be able to go.
4: when the pain comes on in a matter of 1-2 days her stomach will swell to the size of a woman 4 mths pregnant.
Does this sound like Endo or something else.

im not sure, I dont have those exact symptoms with my endo. I just get awful pain. I think the best bet is to get into a doctor asap. SOmething isnt right. From my experience endo does not show up on a cat scan. but on the good side nothing showed up on it. I hope all goes well

The only way they can diagnose endo and see what's really going on is through laparoscopy...that's how the Dr found mine. Good luck!

My Dr. suspects I might have Endo also. I told her I didn't have symptons and she said I have alot of pain and that is a sympton. My period is irregular. None for 3 months and then twice in June. Nothing since end of June. I was in the ER with abdominal pain. They did every test and found little things. I believe Endo does not show up on test. My Dr. wants the GYN to go in Laporscopically and look around. The GYN wants me to keep a pain diary instead. I tried but can't keep up with it. I had three pelvic surgeries with the Cesearen cut and had adhesions taken out twice so that can be my problem again. I would definately get into the GYN.

yeah the lap is the only way to truely know if its endo or not. I just had my 3rd one in april my issue is mostly adhesions caused by my first lap so its a never ending pain battle for me. Hope you get into the doc soon

It could be a stomach/bowel issue also.
