Hi guys, it's me again. I got tested again yesterday. It was about 62 days(about 9 weeks) after the unprotected sex with the one night stand and about 32 days after the unprotected oral but protected sex with the escort. The doctor also tested my blood for Hepatitis B and did a full blood count. The results for the HIV 1&2 test and the VDRL test were non reactive. The blood count was normal and negative for Hep B. I know the results were not conclusive but were they encouraging? I am still on medication for my inflammed prostate. I still experience some muscle aches around my groin area, mild aches around my knees, mild underarms pain and occasional mild aches in my heels. Are these pains caused by the inflammed prostate? Am I going to be ok guys? Is it too early to tell if I'm negative or positive? Please reply..

Great News!!! Your test results are very encouraging and I fully expect you to test -ve at 13 weeks. Keep us posted.

babyshan is right, golf...You are negative! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif 9 weeks is extremely encouraging, having in mind that most people who generate detectable antibodies, do so within 4-6 weeks post-exposure. It is easier saind tahn done, and since I went through this, I'll tell you it is very hard...but as you wait for your 13 week test, slowly try to get to the idea that you will be OK, your symptoms non-withstanding.

Go see a shrink, or talk to someone you trust, it will help you get through. OK??
