Dear Karla1975

I just want to clear something up for you. Your Aunt does NOT have lung cancer. Your Aunt has Colon cancer that may have Spread to the lung. This is NOT considered lung cancer. It still remains colon cancer that has metastasis (Spread). They do NOT treat this as lung cancer. She will be treated for her colon cancer that has spread. The treatments are not the same as if she had lung cancer.

You will be better off on a Colon Cancer Board where you will get the proper answers.

Good luck to your Aunt.

Karla 1975 Sometimes the side effects from cancer treatment can be pretty brutal. What kind of prognosis did the Dr's give your Aunt? Please be positive when your around her. Urge friends and family to send Cards to her on a regular basis, this small gesture is really a pick me up and really makes one feel good. May God Bless Cat Az
