my doc just put me on the generic brand for adipex-p, but its 15 mg. Has anyone been on such a low dose with results. I keep reading everyone on the 37.5 mg? What do I have to look forward too or against being on it. any comments or ponters would greatly appreciate it. thanks

What is the generic brand he put you on? I have had good sucess with Phentermine 37.5, I have to get it online though. Your doctor is probebly starting you with a low dose to see how it affects you, if it is not working ask him to up the MG. I have no problem with losing weight, its keeping it off that is my problem. Last year I lost 50 lbs that was my goal, I was turning 50 and wanted to lose 50 lbs, I was at my High School weight, blood pressure was great chol and trig was great. Now a year later I have put it all back on, bp is high again. I cannot figure out why I do this, this is probebly the 3rd time I have lost a lot of weight but put it right back on. Sorry hope I did not hijack you thread.

no its ok, I am not sure the name of it, however no one had it to fill it, so he put me on the phentermine 37.5 I am on a whole pill, I feel good, and have lost about 10 lbs within 3 wks. I don't know if this is a good start or not, but I am happy with it. I seem to have a bit of a problem with sleep though, and it seems like it brought on my period which lasted for like 2 wks now lol, ridiculous.

Can other things be taken with it? I was thinking about doing a colon cleanse also, but not sure if I can or not. thanks
