How many people out there have got a False Positive with Discreet HIV test. Are there any links to posts , articles that document reliability of Discreet HIV tests. I just got a positive on the Discreet test at 8 weeks. I had a negative on ELISA at 4 weeks. Have tested again with ELISA today....results due tomorrow!

Don't put too much stock in the Discreet test.

Discreet is not accurate. If you took that disregard your results, and re-take with either Home Access, or a standard ELISA test at your Dr's or lab.

I got my ELISA tests for HIV 1 & 2 screening as non-reactive. What a relief. I think I have been a complete fool to test myself with that product. I strongly advise everyone not to use the Discreet Test....it gave me too much anguish for a day! Waiting for my final ELISA test at 12 weeks!!

Since I took both Discreet and ELISA on the same day, is it possible that Discreet is more sensitive than ELISA or are these just negative tghts of a distressed mind??
