I can practially feel your frustration and I'm sorry to hear it. I know you said your area is limited on Drs but could you possibly find another one to try? Maybe one who will listen to what you're saying? I think that's crucial and for some reason it's so hard to find. I know the feeling of running out of options, but I find that it's never really the case. (Easy to say I know) Try to hang in there OK. Do you have any family around to watch the kids so you can get some time to yourself? Go ahead and scream if you have to, there are certainly worse things than that.

scream into a pillow, seriously

i bought a bop buddy at a large retail kids store and i love it! (it is like a punching bag, only cheaper and shaped like a thug)

i cannot cry due to meds so the frustration builds. taking it out on an inanimate object feels wonderful! really, it helps you get past that emotion.

i do hope you find the right support.

Can you go out of the area to a more populated one to go to another doctor?
Is your doctor a psychiatrist who often treats bipolar? If not, please do try to go where you have to to get decent treatment.
What dosage of Lamictal are you on?
I think the amount of experience a doctor has, the better. I'm lucky that I go to a state mental health counseling center, where the psychiatrists see thousands and thousands of patient.

I am also in a small town, by the way.
