I think that i may have herpes, or possibly something else. I few weeks ago i contracted clymidia, but that is cleared up, and now i'm getting what seems like zits in my pubic hair area. I've had regular little zits down there for years, but this is different. they are pink, break easy, and tiny amounts of clear liquid. any ideas what it could be? And of course i'm going to the clinic tommorow, but i'm up and worrying.

The clinic is your best bet. Ask for a swab culture of the sores and an IgG type specific herpes blood test (NOT IgM!) for HSV-1 and HSV-2 at the same time. If the swab is positive and the blood test comes out negative, it will give you a better timeline of determining your infection. After you had the clymidia (sp) treated, did they also do a full panel of std tests? Remember, for some stupid reason, a herpes test is NOT part of a standard std test. Good luck. Try not to freak.

Hi Kilgore.

A mild case of herpes is usually because of a strong immune system? Or is it because of a weaker strain of HSV?
