hi to everyone,in january i have been going around with this guy and we had sex two times for the most and i started having sex with him in april and the second time was in may,it felt strange because the first time we had intercourse it lasted for like 5 minutes for the most,i became very scared because it came in to my mind that how could someone break ( come) so fast and i was very worried.i talked to a close friend of mind and he told be the cause of that could have been that he was suffering from premature ejaculation.Anytime it happen it seems to him that he never had that and twice we had sex and it resulted that way,but our relationship is over.few months has passed and jus last week i have been tested for std's and i have been postive for Herpes,it was very very emotional for me because all the othe std i was tested for was negative except HERPES and i am confused in which types of herpes i have it marked on the paper herpes index 1 ,Ig G Postive,Ig M negative,Herpes 2 index - Ig G Negative. Ig M Negative.i went to a doctor o explain the results and they told me that i was exposed to the viruds and i have antibodies in my blood so i would really would like to know if which type i have the only think that i ever experience was itching by my vagina and he treated me for yeast infection

If I am reading what you typed correctly, it indicates that you are positive for type 1. Type 1 usually appears on the mouth as a cold sore. However, it can be spread to the genitals through oral sex. Since you seem to be having problems down below it could be that that is how your contracted the virus.

Ok, in your original post you put "on the paper herpes index 1 ,Ig G Postive" but maybe you just typed it wrong. If they told you type 2 then now at least now you know your status.

I DID NOT TYPPE IT WRONG BECAUSE ON THE FIRST REPORT IT WAS NEGATIVE BOTH TO INDEX 2 AND THEN ON INDEX 1 IT APPEARED Ig G POSITIVE ,Ig M negative

I would advise you to go to a doctor (preferrably not one at the gov't clinics because they are usually overwhelmed with patients) and have him/her explain to you what those results mean. Just remember that having hsv does not mean that your life is over.

"NAME OF TEST RESULTS RANGE
Herpes II (IGg) 1.4
Negative : <0.90
Equivocal: <0.91 - 0.99
Positive : <1.00"
You may have mistyped. GREATER THAN 1 = positive
His number as you typed is listed as 1.4 so that is a positive, although just over the 1.00. He should be retested in 3-4 months after last sexual exposure. Are you sure you typed it in correctly?

Do you have any fresh news? I am really worried because 2 weeks after the unprotected sex I tested positive for Herpes simplex IGM; I repeated the blood test 3 months later and this time both tests HSV 1 and 2 came out positive (IGG 1.4 for both). The urologist dismissed them as posible false positives but i am really worried. He claimed that the values were really low. He then prescribed zythromax, flagyl, and later on levaquin but i am still having the symptoms.
I have had discomfort in my penis for 4 months already, had a really irritated and red scrotum (it is better now), red dots in the glan (head) that are noticeable when i have an erection (somehow painful), i suffer from pain after ejaculating (after sex or masturbation), itch all over my body and even troubles in my eyes (as if i had a foreign object-> Got checked and my eyes were "ok").
I have an appointment with the dermatologist tomorrow?
Any input or help?
