hello,
I was doing so good with my TMJ, and now it has come back and my jaw is very rigid...My back is bothering me also. 3 wks before this i had vomited and had pain in my tongue and tmj's. Also i slept on my side a few times (for maybe a few hours each) when i normally sleep on my back. I also used a non-feather pillow for a few days. Have other peole had these things happen from vomiting? im doing my treatment like usual, I just feel so awful I feel like it will never go away..

You might just need an adjustment to your splint. I can go for a couple of months of feeling great then the pain creeps back as I've worn it down over this time. As soon as it is built back up I feel ok again. You might have overworked some muscles in your face/jaw when you vomited which need to settle back down again too.

Hey there,
I know exactly how you feel .. i just have gotten over a cold and mine came back too , my earaches... i think you did overwork your muscles, i did too i think as i coughed my lungs out hey..try getting your splint readjusted and hang in there.. remember when you feel great, dont creep back to your old habits... pretend like you still have tmj even when you're well then when you feel great for over a year you wont have to worry ( apart for the fact that you shouldnt clench etc.)
Much Love
