I wanted to share my store with everybody out there. In January this year, I had unprotected sex with a sex worker ( I know how foolish I was to to do that, but I have learnt my lesson and will never do it again).
In Mid April, I had a bad sore threat and a fever for one day. The sore throat lasted for a week. I had a dry cough for few more days. I interpreted that to be my first symtopms of HIV. I became so much stressed mentally that I became weak and attributed every single illness to HIV.
Finally when I could not bear the stress, I surfed the internet and ordered this discreet test kit from Seville Marketing Canada.When the kit arrived, I took the test as suggested . The test came out to be positive. Clearly there were two red bands on the test strip.I contacted them on email and they told me that I am HIV positive and should seek medical assistance immediately.
The same day, I found the city sponsored HIV lab which does the HIV testing for free. I gave my blood sample for testing. I got my results back yesterday and it says thet I am HIV negative ( nonreactive).
The two weeks period between my discreet test and the lab test was like living in hell. I was depressed and suicidal all the times. I ate very little and felt dejected.
I think the CDC or FDA must provide some blacklist information about these home discreet tests companies which play with insecurities of people's mind.
I would suggest to not to use these home discreet tests at all. Every city has free HIV testing centers where they even do anonymous testing. I think there cannot be any more reliable way of HIV testing.
HIV testing is just not any physical process.Its a system which requires expert handling and counselling.
