he took a xray just of the crown that has been periodically bothering me. The root of that tooth is touching or in my left maxillary sinus. With all the things i track for migraines, allergies... never put 2 and 2 together about my tooth discomfort with sinus issues/inf. I see a ENT on the 25th

anyone else have this? am i screwed? I had him check my bite again..this time while sitting upright in the chair and it was off. Not sure if that will make enough of a difference or not. The left cheek and around my eye are a little numb (been that way all day). My dentist didn't say anything, probably waiting for the ENT to see it

I don't know the history of your pain, give me more detail of how old is the crown, how long has it been hurting you. binting pain? temperarture pain? laying down sitting up, chewing which cause more pain?
Sometimes if you have long roots, that is in the sinus, sinus congestion can cause tooth pain, most likely on biting chewing or pressure. Try to take decongestion meds for few days, then it should sove the problem. If not, chance that you may need root canal treatment for the tooth. Remember whenever you had crown, you always has chance of root canal treatment later in future.

I'm thinking it is congestion/sinus pain causing the tooth/crown discomfort. I had a sinus infection treated with a zpak (didn't clear it completely), then got the crown a week later. Then i was on another 38 days of omnicef.. every time i finished a therapy, i'd have green again. The discomfort would only be a few days a month. Some times just chewing, others cold sensitivity.

I also wear a night guard for clenching my teeth

He adjusted my bite again (apparently i have a sensitive bite) and it has helped. I see the ENT on the 25th
