I am 45 years old, male.
In March 2006, I was admitted into the hospital for acute severe pancreatitis, resulting in multiple organ failure including heart, lung, kidney et al. After intensive treatment in the hospital, I recovered. But later I found I had pancreas pseudocyst. In September 2006, doctors carried out internal drainage of the pancreas pseudocyst and cholecystectomy in special pancreas division of wuhan union hospital. After the operation, I got quite well. But in March 2007, I found my dark stools in the toilet for the first time. Through physical examination, I had spleenmegaly and phlebeurysma of fundus gastricus. In the blood routine test, white blood cells and red cells both decreased. Later on, I had dark stools every two months on average. Afterwards, I got consultence in many hospitals and had four gastroscopic examinations and three enteroscopyic examinations, but they found no reason for bleeding and I did not get any better. In February 2008, I had dark stools frequently, one time every month. Blood routine test showed WBC was 2×109个/ml,HB was 60g/L.In March 2008, I was diagnosed with pancreatogenous portal hypertension(PHT) in special pancreas division of wuhan union hospital. There I got exp. lap. . In the operation, doctors found the tail of the pancrea adhered to the spleen. So they could not do splenectomy and they had no way but to deligate spleen artery and the phlebeurysma of fundus gastricus. But after the operation, I had no recovery. During the hospitalization, I received haemostasis, dephlogisticating and stomach protecting therapies.
At present, I am having dark stools every 10 days or so. I am here to look for more effective treatments for me and I am really painful. I am quite thankful to you if you can give me any help!
