emp1_99 07-25-2003, 10:16 AM I just spoke to the girl in question. She went to get tested this morning after me asking her to. She's negative! My test at 5.5 weeks was also negative. Can i trust that i'm ok? Sponsor ddd2222us 07-25-2003, 11:22 AM i would say your ok, but for mental reasons take a final test at 13 weeks. also, what type of test did she do? emp1_99 07-25-2003, 11:23 AM She had a blood test and STD check. She has been with the same guy for a year now. ddd2222us 07-25-2003, 02:33 PM ur test is most likely conclusive. for peace of mind u might wanna do 13 week test but its not necessary. im surprised the results took that quickly. what type of lab was it emp1_99 07-30-2003, 02:00 PM I'm a bit worried. Since the incident with the girl, i haven't had sex with my girlfriend as i've been so worried about passing something on. She did once try oral on me but fortunately i was totally dry, ie. no pre-*** , and it only lasted about a minute. She is extremely suspicious of me. I tested negative at 5.5 weeks and the girl in question also tested negative last week. She has been with the same guy for over a year. My girlriend is feeling run down and has a big ulcer in her mouth, she says she feels achy. I'm so worried that i might have passed something on to her but can't see how i could have. Does this sound like i should be worried? ddd2222us 07-30-2003, 02:31 PM u can test again if u like, but the results wont change. did u go for std testing? maybe talking about this with your girlfriend will help. just some suggestions. if you can wait 13 weeks and test for a conclusive negative result. emp1_99 07-30-2003, 04:03 PM Thanks for the comments. Do you think that i and my girlfriend are OK? Should there be any more reason for concern do you think? emp1_99 07-30-2003, 04:09 PM Also, in answer to your question, i didn't have an STD test. The nurse at the clinic asked me as to whether i had any symptoms, ie. discharge, pains, stinging sensation, etc., to which i answered 'no'. She prescribed me an antibiotic (i forget thename of it) but there was only one to take! It was massive too. The nurse assured me that, if i had chlamidia, then the tablet would clear it up. Does this sound right? |
