Yesterday my right ear felt itchy and I stuck my little finger in and waggled it about a bit. When I uplled it out there was a pop and I got a sharp pain deep in my ear.
Since then whenever I do the same (very gingerly) or when I try to pop my ears by holing my nose and blowing, or just when I blow my nose, I get the same very sharp pain.
It (thankfully) dies down and just remains vaguely uncomfortable afterwards.
There is no loss of healing and no blocked feeling.

I recently had a more normal (continually aching) earache in mt right ear that the doc treated with anti-biotics and told me to regularly unblock by holding my nose and blowing.

I've don a search for an hour or so and can't see anything concrete. Any help or opinions would be welcome.
