No one here can give you a diagnosis of lung cancer, but I can tell you it might be worth calling your doctor about. If the smokes are making you SOB (shortness of breath) I think that's a good sign to consider quitting. Your young and it's best to do it now then try harder to do it later.

But just so you know, your heart can also cause SOB (shortness of breath) and that too can be caused by smoking. So, don't just think it's your lungs that are taking the blunt of the smoking, so does your heart.

I know this because I am a lung cancer survivor AND I have heart disease. I was only 43 when I was dx.d. Go get it checked out, and thing hard about quitting. I use to smoke too and I LOVED my cigs, but I sure don't miss them today and I haven't for 13 years now.

Good luck.

It kills me how people who smoke can smoke and be worried about lung cancer at the same time. Yes, that is a sign of you potentially developing lung cancer. It can also be a sign that you're coming down with something like a cold. Also, it could be a sign that your body, like many people, just can't tolerate the cancer sticks.
