Is HPV permanent type of virus? what are the chances of it going away? Will a healthy diet help cure the virus?

It's still a bit unclear wheter HPV ever TOTALLY goes away, but most people clear all symptoms of the virus (whether it's cervical dysplasia from high-risk HPV or warts from low-risk HPV) within 2 years. Your chances of fighting off the virus on your own are especially good if you're under 30.

Based on what my doctor has told me, it's my belief that your immune system suppresses the virus but that if your immune system is weakened symptoms could return.

So yes, a healthy diet (as well as taking vitamins and not smoking) are helpful in keeping your immune system strong, which helps you fight off HPV as well as disease in general.
