Hi Dadamski,
You'll really want the spinal cord disorders boards (same health message board forum, different board) for cervical problems specifically. I've had neck and back surgery, although my neck surgery was only for one disc (5-6), cord flattening, and for bone spurs, not from 2-7. I was scared to have surgery, too, and got a LOT of information and support (and tips) from the spinal cord disorders board. Your post will probably be moved there soon, but if not, just look for it in the health issues section of the health boards. I don't know how to post the link, otherwise I would, sorry.

Your thread has been re-routed to the spinal cord disorders message board. It is a tad confusing but the spinal cord board is for those afflicted with cervical spinal issues and the back problems board is reserved for those with lumbar spinal issues.
Thank you.

hi, i to have had a cervical fusion that has lead to rsd. i would not recommend any fusion. i would look for a doc that does less invasive procedures. they are out there now. not available when i had my fusion...good luck, patti
