For more than 2 months I have had chronic fatigue and weakness if I try to do anything physical (even washing dishes and cooking a meal is enough to exhaust me) I was taken into hospital and have had blood tests - MRI - CTscan - x rays - lumbar puncture and nothing has shown. I have another appointment to see a neurologist in 2 months. I have been keeping a diary of my symptoms.

Hi Carol
I am sorry that you are going through such a difficult time. If you don't mind me asking what other symptoms are you experiencing? Are you being clinically monitored for MS? I do hope that you get some answers.
Fatigue is a hard symptom to manage when you have a life to live and a house hold to keep in tact. I hope that you have a supportive family as that makes a huge difference to your health and well-being. I hope that they can chip in and do the chores that you are unable to do at this time. Get as much rest as possible and please keep us posted

Fatigue is a terrible symptom. Especially because no one understands the depth of the tiredness without having experienced it.
What blood tests have you had specifically? I have been dx with ms but even when I'm not experiencing severe symptoms I have been constantly tired, which I always put down to ms. I just discovered that I'm B12 deficient and had my first B12 shot last week. The increase in energy is incredible.
What are your other symptoms?
I hope you get some answers soon and find some relief.

Hello, Carol.
Another thought: Have you been checked for a sleep disorder it can and does cause fatigue to the extreme, to the point it can become a quality of life issue if left untreated. A simple sleep study would tell you if you have a sleep disorder.

My post seems to have been edited Fatigue is only one symptom
I suffer fatigue, distorted vision, weakness . dizziness and horrible sensations in my hands arms legs and feet. I use to be strong fit and active until this happened.

Hi, ohcarol. It's great that you're keeping a diary of your sx. :) I highly recommend you taking a look at the post atop the page called "The Differential Diagnosis..." and going to the link provided. It explains what it takes to be dxed with MS and lists a lot of the "mimics". It might be good to read through that before you go see the neurologist. What type of visual distrubances are you experiencing and have you been to an eye doctor?
I hope you feel better and can get some answers soon!
