Do cholesterol numbers change for children and teens or is it the same for adults. Both my husband and I are dealing with high cholesterol, we get it mostly through genetics. We try to eat really well but are cutting out more to try and get our numbers down. My 14 yr. old son is not a good eater, never has been but now as a teen I don’t know how much more I can fight him on the issue. I had his cholesterol checked:

HDL – 41
LDL – 94
CHOL. – 145
TRIG – 52

Are these numbers ok?
