if you have hpv and you deside to get pregnant will it effect the baby?

It shouldn't. The only thing that MIGHT happen is that you had a more advanced case and needed a procedure like a LEEP, there are SOME instances of early delivery. Also, I would assume if you had genital warts that you'd want to have a c-section.
