In 2003 I had a fusion on c5/6 & C6/7, I was recently on May 11 involved in a rear end collision where I was stop and the other vehicle rear ended me at aprox. 35 mph, and did not brake, I stoped him! I have been going to PT for 3+ months and I still have pain in my thoracic spine area, Doctors did xray & mri of my neck/fusion area and lower back, but seem to ignore me about my thoracic area???

The Spine Specialist saw nothing wrong in my neck or lower back, and recommends a pain management doctor, will he be able to narrow down my pain in the upper back and neck area??

Is it not possible to have an injury in the upper back area between the shoulder blades in the area around the T4 & T5 area, I have tingling down both arms occasionally, and very sore in neck & shoulder and upper back area to this day. I guess i continue with PT until this I get worse.
Not sure what else to do? HeLP PLEASE!!!

If you get into a good PM they will continue to look for problems, & look into that T area. If I am to understand correctly (others can correct me if I am wrong) its rare to injure the T area, but it does happen. I honestly think doctors get nervous about the T spine. I am getting the T1 looked into next week. I would find a good Pm & as far as PT if it were me I would be hesitant about that until I looked into finding out if there could be other spinal issues. PT only made me worse. good luck, Sammy
