On July 26 I wrecked on a motor scooter. It wasn't serious (at least I don't think). They wouldn't take me at the local hospital because I passed out for a second and didn't remember why I wrecked. I had a concussion and a really really bad black eye from the goggles, which still isn't completely healed. They did a CT scan. I was sent home the next morning.
Anyways, my head seems so confused. It's like I try to talk to people and my thoughts seem disoriented and my eyes feel funny.
Is this part of the concussion or what. I am starting to panic and feel there's not going to be a future for me any more. I can't seem to snap out of it. Everyone keeps saying its the trauma.
Has or is anyone ever experienced anything like this and if so, will it go away?
I am despirate for some help!!!

Hi Charpo,
I am sorry to hear about your accident, and that you are still having problems - have you been to your Doctor since the accident? if your eyes feel funny it would probably be a good idea to go and see them to get it checked out, they may as well be able to refer you on to a counciller if you need someone to help you sort it out in your head.
Have you talked to friends about it? When I was attacked I shut everyone out and that made it harder for me to recover - so keep talking to people and keep posting here if you need to talk to people who have been in similar situations or just need to vent - this is a great place for that - I really hope you feel better soon and get some help - take care

I've been to my doctor and an orthopedic. I guess it really worries me that I can't remember exactly how the accident happened. I just want to be convinced that since my eye is messed up that it is messing up my sinuses and that is half of the problem. I just want to feel better. Thanks so much for answering me.

i cant remember some details of what happened to me - my psychologist told me that it's somthing i don't need to remember and that it may not come back - i stressed over this for ages but try to remind myself that this is all part of the past - i can't chamge the past but i can make the future better for myself and others by living now instead of taking up all my time thinking about the past - hard to do - but i try - think about seeing a counsellor or a psychologist - a good one can help you - talk to friends - talk here - letting out all the frustration, anger and fear helps, and we are all here to help where we can - take care - i hope things work out for you and you feel better soon MBC
