I had a kidney stone surgically removed 10 days ago. At the time doctor put a stent in. Went to his office to have it removed and he could not find it. He refered to the xray I had taken prior to the office visit and he said that it obviously has moved up into the kidney. I am scheduled for surgery in a couple of days so that he can go up and try to retreive it. Has anyone ever heard of this, I am very frustrated at this point as the cramping and the back/side pain is a constant. Thanks for any input.

Yes, this happened to me with my second litho. Don't worry about it, the surgery is nothing and you will feel great when you wake up. I would take the surgery over having it removed in the doctors office (which is what I had the 1st time) any day.
