[26 year old male]. I've consistently been having sloppy (low density) stool. It usually is floating as well, but not always. The color is the standard brown. Sometimes there is shape to the stool but it's usually blobby.
Honestly, I'm not real sure how long this has been going on. I just noticed it a month or two ago. My diet really hasn't changed. I have no other symptoms, and feel great.
In December I had my comprehensive blood check (for something else). The doc said everything looked perfect back then. I take metoprolol for hypertension.
Thoughts? Thank you.

Floating stools are usually caused by a greasy diet that is not being digested well but passing on through.

The same thing happens to me when I eat out. I stopped for a long time and it stopped. I would say just watch what you eat! If you know its not healthy for you dont touch it.
