Yes -- Antibiotics kill off the friendly bacteria as well as the bad type you are trying to get rid of-- So, it is best to re-establish the friendly bacteria. Culturelle will also work.

If you don't take some form of action -- you will probably end up with a candida /yeast infection because-- Flagyl is a strong antibiotic.

Many thanks Harry. I have been infected with C-Diff and am on my second course of Flagyl. I'm about half way through but don't see any improvement. I plan to ask my Doc tomorrow if taking probotics like Pearls, Florastor, Culturelle, etc. would help improve my health.
