Hi,

I'm 21 years old, 5'4" and weigh 175lbs. I carry my weight well, but I know I'm over weight.

I've started weight lifting 6x a week, walking for 45 minutes 3x week, and doing the slimfast plan (two shakes a day and a reasonable dinner.) I am hoping that I'll drop the weight relatively fast because I've done a major lifestyle switch. I wasn't exercizing at all, and I was having Pizza and Chicken wings for dinner nearly every night.

Anyways, I'm looking for a support group to help me through this. My family 'overly' supportive, in that they are more worried about my weight than I am. It gets a little anoying. I haven't been able to find any local support groups so I was hoping to find one online.

Thanks http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hi,

You may participate in our Healthboards online support group,
the Weight Loss Message Board (http://www.healthboards.com/cgi/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&number=124&SUBMIT=Go).

Members may not post other online support groups here
as it is not allowed by the board guidelines.

Thank you! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

The best support groups I have found are those connected with a specific plan.
