I've just been diagnosed as having HPV 16, and my doctor has prescribed a vaginal suppository for it. But after having looked at various websites, I'm not clear that there is a treatment (cure) for this. Or is there?

What exactly is this suppository supposed to do? I've never heard of there being a treatment for HPV 16 either. Weird.
