I am 8 weeks post 2-level ACDF (decompression, bone spurs removed, too). How soon did any of you start neck exercises and what were they? I still feel a lot of pressure in my neck and shoulder areas, with a little tingling. I went back to work at 6 weeks doing desk work. When I have to turn my head in a certain direction too many times, I do get a areas that start getting painful. I'm wondering if I need to start a few neck exercises. My neurosurgeon is very quiet and you have to pull information out of her. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

I was never instructed to do any neck exercises nor did I do any physical therapy. After being in the Aspen collar for 6 weeks I just had to slowly get myself back to normal muscle use. As soon as my surgeon allowed it I had some massage therapy to aid the muscle tension.
