View Full Version : I can't stop thinking about food!

Help me please! I am currently restricting myself to 100 grams of carbs per day, with most of those being fruits and veggies. First of all, does this sound like it would work to help me lose weight? Second of all, it seems that in the afternoon, all I can think about is food. I try to consume mostly 0 - no carb foods that are high in protein. I just don't seem to get hungry. Any suggestions as to how to get past this? I don't know why I am doing this. Anyone else have this problem or have suggestions for me? Thanks! Kim

I was the same way... what I started doing was drinking tons of water... though it didn't stop my cravings for food for a few weeks it did fill me to the point where I thought about it but couldn't consume it as my stomach was already full... the recommended amount of water is 1/2 ounce per pound and for me at one point that was a gallon a day... Nothing is easy but if you focus it gets easier over time... The other thing that really helped with weight loss (I lost 45 lbs in 6 months, without the help of weightloss supplements) was speedwalking for 20 to 40 minutes first thing every morning. It will speed your matabolism and you will feel better all day!!!!!!
