I'm 45, 5'8 and 270lbs, menopausal, back, hip, leg and feet problems & pain, depression, chronic fatigue, RLS (fibromyalgia). Which prevents me from walking any distance or doing any exercise except for the stretching for my back, hips & feet. I've tried the lower carb diets, or just cutting out sugars and snack foods and my depression gets worse plus the craving for carbs and sugars becomes an obsession all day long. I looked thru the posts here and didn't see any comments or remarks about hypnosis. Has anyone tried this technique and if so with what kind of results.
I'd love to have the Gastric surgery but it's a tad
bit out of my price range. Idea's or comments positive or negative I'm open to everything.
Thanks Susie

I tried hypnosis nearly a year ago. I went for a couple reasons though, weight loss and self esteem. The lady I went to had me focus more on the self esteem and said weight loss would follow. Well it did help my self confidence, but I havn't lost weight because of it. After probably 7 months of listening to my hour long tapes nightly I finally gave up. I am glad that I went still, because of the self confidence I gained... However I can't say personally that it helped my weight loss.

I tried hypnosis. What a crock! Didn't help me at all. It was a total waste of money.
