Hi I have been taking 45 millagrams of sustained release Dexedrine for some time under a legitimate prescription. Recently I tested positive for a pre-employment drug test and wonder why? This was a saliva test. Any other drug test I've taken has always been a urine test and never tested positive. In addition, I have been on large amounts of antacids under doctor's direction--could this of affected my test result?

Hi--actually no I didn't but I do now--and my drug test cleared. Ironically, my pharmacist who also filled my Dexedrine apparently didn't know either---moral to the story ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK AND YES I have a new pharmacist. Combining Dexedrine with antacids can cause a buildup of Dexedrine and it also intesifies the Dexedrine effect I am told. Thanks for your post.
