hi everyone. i am new at this board. i was looking for a support group that could help me stay focused on losing weight. i have been working out for 3 months now and have lost 8lbs in the process.

i am currently losing the motivation to continue to meet my weigh target. any ideas on how i can stay focused?

You can keep a journal on how much you exercise and eat per day. Read it over by the end of the day.

You should go shopping for new clothes and find things you like in the size you are going to be. Visualize yourself trying them on and having them fit perfectly. then think about all the nice things your friends will say when you show up a a gathering looking fabulous.

I just wanted to give you some motivation!!! I used to be about 50lbs over weight. I know it is not much, but my son motivated me b/c I wanted to be able to keep uup with him..... He is 2 and has so much energy.

Don't get off track now. Think of how far you have come. Just think of how healthy you could feel if you keep going. I like the other poster's advice on the new clothes you could wear if you get to your goal.. Just keep at and GOOD JOB SO FAR!!!!
