Does anyone have TMJ along with you acid reflux? I have a double whammy right now cause my jaw is inflamed and I have burning and discomfort in my sternum area, trouble swallowing anything because of insane amounts of mucus and I'm losing weight because of this. Does anyone have anything that helps with the swallowing and mucus? Or anyone with similar problems?

hi i get the occasional TMJ thing going on as well, but like you i also have this incredible ammount of flem im coughing up dialy so it is a nasty reflux symptom.......im not sure what helps with the mucus thing, i drink 2.5 litres of water a day and eat heaps of raw honey throughout the day to help protect and heal my throat, its important to drink lots of water......

im struggling to find a PPI that works are you taking a PPI?

I am not taking a PPI but am seeing my doctor on Monday, I imagine he will put me on one again. I didn't sleep at all last night because of anxiety and not eating, I also had a horrible migraine. I hope everything I have is related to my GERD flaring my TMJ. The swallowing thing comes and goes theoughout the day but tonight I had to take an excedrin on an empty stomache and that was not fun. I really hope this clears up soon, I HATE not sleeping. Thanks for the reply!
