What happened exactly?
I have had a few colonoscopies and i found the worst thing was the prep. With the actual examination i was sedated, everything went smooth with little or no discomfort. If any polyps are found they are usually taken care of right then and there but i'm sure u know all this already.

One step at a time. I am using to go through a colonoscopy once in a year, so, I just concentrate in the "now" and telling me "this is going to pass" as all other things in life. Distract yourself today, tomorow drink your prep medicine with discipline...., may be you do not sleep well on Monday....is OK, is normal, just have all the rest you can, you will have time to sleep well the next evening, do not think about Tuesday, until it is Tuesday.....You will tell me on Wednesday.......Lots of blessings!!

Hi Maz,
Tell us about it afterwards. I've never had one, although I should have about 10 years ago..but then I'm on coumadin and prednisone so I'm afraid my blood is to thin. Even if he found somthing he couldn't remove it because of the meds I take..Can't seem to get the Drs. to give me one of those kits to test at home.
I couldn't get back to you before because I couldn't find a place to post. I still don't understand there way of posting..
It should be all over now..so just relax and think how wonderful that it's over...
Take care...Nel

Dear Mad Max: I am glad everything was well with the procedure. About the biopsies, don't start to worry about them already. Everything will be fine. God is good. Bless you and your family. Enjoy life!!! Thanks for share your experiences, Noemi

Mad Maz, I had one 3 year ago without the sedative there is nothing to them i would rather have the one up the bottom than the one down the throat anyday of the week, i had just had major bowel surgery and they wanted to have look to see if everything was ok, dont worry -no problem.
