Have you tried massage? I have P.F. and tendonitis in both feet. Six months ago, after climbing a lot of stairs, I feel sharp, pulling pain on both of my arches. The pain did not go away. After all the usual methods - ice, stretches, even a two-week stint of immobilization, which made them worse -I discovered that my muscles in my feet were totally locked up. I have had six sessions with a massage therapist, and my feet are finally feeling better.
I don't believe that you will have to live with this pain for the rest of your life. Please seek other doctors' opinions. This is a wonderful forum to talk to other people who know what you're going through.
Good luck!

I've been getting weekly massages to the bottom of my feet also. I'm about at the end of my patience with pain also and need to be on my feet at work.
