I started taking my pills in October, I started having a cramp in my left hip probably about August 26th or 27th (tuesday or wed.) The pain gradually progressed over a couple days and that Friday night, i could barely walk...same with saturday i had to sit pretty much all day or lay down on my side with a pillow between my legs, i woke up saturday late afternoon from a nap and my pelvic area was hurting...i went to bed that night as much as i could and sunday my fiance made me go to the doctor because my leg was a bit swollen and discolored....he said i wasnt getting any bloodflow.

I went in Sunday to the hospital they asked me all kids of questions...if i would have hd a tape recorder i could have saved m,y breathe...they did an ultra sound on my left leg, left side of my pelvic are and under my ribs to see my lungs...I had a Bloodclot, it was in an "insignificant vein" so they gave me some meds, 4 to be precise...took them til wednesday, swelling had gotten so much worse and none of the meds were helping not even the pain meds. i go back in ER on wednesday morning and the bloodclot had moved to a "Deepvein" which is not better at all....now it is possible if i get up and walk it could travel to one of my main organs, now they say i have to be on coumadin for the next 3-6 months and i could possibly acquire bloodclots later on....they had me on bedrest from that wednesday til sunday (sept 3rd -7th) i can barely walk cuz my leg hurts so bad and when i do walk i cant walk much or far at all because my legs get so tired and i have to sit down or lay down pretty much the whole time. .

Now my hospital bill is $15,000+ and now i dont know what the heck to do, i am going to look for an attorney, if there are other women with the same problem from the same birthcontrol, because i am wondering if they had a faulty batch of birthcontrol.....
