Hi. I am thinking about going to my doctor and discussing getting on Xenical for extra support with my dietary changes. My BMI is 32 and even with added physical activity and better eating, I just don't see results. My question is - Has anyone used or is currently using Xenical? What are your experiences with it?
Thanks

Rachael I used xenical years ago right around when it first came out (98-99)and I didn't have very good luck with it.

You have to be very careful what you eat and I mean VERY careful, otherwise you will end up spending a lot of time in the bathroom and you can even end up inadvertently soiling yourself.

A lot of times with that drug you will have some bloat and gas and you must make sure to pass it in the bathroom because a lot of people experience an oily diarrhea which can almost leak out if you eat fatty type foods.

I luckily never had any accidents but heard a lot of horror stories and had some near misses.

I would highly recommend that you talk with your Doctor and make sure that it is right for you before staring.

Good Luck! :)
