After taking a pack of loestrin pills , Is it o.k to discontinue taking them?

Yes, if you want to. If you're going to discontinue taking them, it's better to finish out the pack that you're on first, and then stop taking them. If you stop taking them in the beginning of the pack or in the middle, it throws your hormones out of whack and you may end up having some spotting or bleeding.
