I don't know about the weight loss, but the back and neck pain and dizziness and fatigue could be attributed to the statins he's taking. Go to the High Cholesterol board. There might be some information there that could help you. Also do some research on statin drug side effects. His BP meds could be causing some of these problems also. You might want to check out the High/Low BP board. Good luck!

This may seem a bit out there, but have you thought about the possibility of tape worm?

Type 1 or 11 diabetic? Just a thought if hes being treated for type 11 and he is type 1 that causes rapid weight loss.

Is he having stomach problems at all? Have they checked for Crohn's Disease? My brother lost 80 lbs in a couple of months, and thought it was because he had gone off of his anti-depressants. But then he had what he thought was an appendix attack, but it turned out he has Crohn's diease, and rapid weight-loss is a major symptom of it.
