Im 27 years old of course. Im about 50-60 pounds over weight Im 5 foot 3. At least I think Im supposed to be around 125-135? My first child I gained a whopping 100 pounds. Anyways, I had my second child and was terrified of gaining I started out at 180 pound then by delivery I was 145 pounds (baby was healthy). I consumed nothing but veggies and fruit. Adding chicken daily with no additives (spices etc). Six years later here I am (189 pounds), I have high blood pressure, palpatations (arrythmia), liver tests sky rocketing, and kidney protein very high, and fatigue. I cut all my pop down to 2 cans a day.. and cut my food intake by 1/2. Its been a week ive lost 10pounds. But see here is what gets me, after those 10 pounds its extremly hard to get it to keep going down. What do you all do when your weight gets stuck in one area? Im buying me a treadmill next month hoping it helps out. I have been thinking of takin all my meats out too. Im sooooo needing this weight off. What started all this was my doctor gave me a pill i was allergic too and my bp was 179/125 p. 77 That was enough to scare the living day lights out of me!! That and my liver doctor said my ldh was extremely high which means (damaged tissue) distruction by what I dont know yet.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No thyroid problem im not sure what pco is?. I was on anti-depressants for awhile I picked up alot of weight with it. The doctor keeps testing my thryoid I guess its cause im over weight. He wont say Im over weight but he doesnt have too, I know what hes thinking. Now im coming up on 30 and Im terrified I hear its harder to loose weight.
I was tested for sugar, i didnt have high.. but sometimes my sugar does bottom out and I pass out.
Ten pounds usually for me is excess water thats retained and me dieting together. The heart doctor had me on water pills then took me off of them old fashion doctors believe water retention has alot to do with high bp. I only take the left over ones I have when Im swelled really bad. Ive always been like that though my first week its easy to shed 10 pounds.. its just going beyond.
The fatigue I explained is from fibroymaglia from what they tell me. I do excersise as much as I can to some limit because of an injury. That is why I perfer walking its less painful there are alot of times its very challenging, but I know I have to do this to keep my sanity with my health. I tend to get upset (and depressed) at times, and use that energy and use it for walking.

Hi Dawn. I completely understand how you feel. I am 5'2 and I used to be 135. I lost the weight before my wedding and kept it off for four years, until I had my son. I gained 45 pounds and lost some if it. Then I had my daughter and gained 56 pounds. When I gave birth to her, I was at 226. I lost some but got stuck at 190. Almost three weeks ago I joined Weight Watchers and in two weeks I lost 6.8 pounds (I was 191.8 on their scale). I get weight again this Wednesday. I'ts a slow way to lose weight, but it's actual pounds off and you can feel the difference.
Please do not eliminate protein. Your body needs proteing, vegetables, fruits and complex carbs. If you starve your body, it will go into starvation mode and hang on to each and every fat cell. All that will happen is that you will end up messing up your metabolism and gain it back plus more. I think your body is telling you that it needs good nutrition - listen to it. It looks like we're in the same boat. Please keep me posted on how you are doing. Best of Luck, Nikki

I wouldnt totally cut my protein, even if I get it through other things besides meats. Id like to cut all meat intake itself because of high toxins. From what a medical specialist said about certain disorders that was give to me about it. I think peanut butter has a large amount of protien in it (not sure but Ill have to look). I lost another 3 pounds but i gained one of those pounds back. I dont cut myself off of fruits (i dearly love) and veggies (which i can tolerate). However I take vitiamins to help also.
I dont eat alot of sugar, alot of my problem is bread, potatoes, etc. Which I do believe your Carbohydrates turns to sugar anyways. Please correct me if Im wrong. I can go without candy for months at a time even chocolate. Im just not a big sweet fan. Im glad to finally met someone that has similar problems. It helps a great deal to know there are ppl out there that has the same problem. Makes you feel alot better for sure! I thought about a weight place here, but Im not sure how much it costs.. But I will check it out. I was trying to get my mom because its awful lonely doing it by yourself. If you get my drift.
