This is my first posting! I have been on Atkins since Jan. I lost 43 lbs in 5 months and then hit a plateau. I chalked it up to summer, vacations, not getting to the gym, etc. But now that school is back in & routines are starting I am still stuck! No real loss since MAY! I tried taking 2 days off, all that did was give me a 2 pound gain, that I have lost, and am stuck again! I heard others on Atkins have had big plateaus? I'm willing to try supplements if there are really any that work. Any advice?

Maybe you are all ready doing some if not all of these things but you could try:
Drinking at least 70 or more ounces of water
No caffeine
Unbreaded meats (not luncheon meats) but chicken, pork, fish, eggs .....
limited cheese - no more than 4 ounces a day
2 cups of salad a day
1 cup of allowed vegetable a day
No shakes, bars or extras
Just eating the meat at all meals and staying with the 2 cups of salad with allowed dressing and 1 cup of vegetables for a couple of days.
See if the scales start moving. Like I said - you may already be doing this - but good luck.
