Ok at my local subway you can buy the bread for 1.00 a foot long. And i replaced burgers pizza and more with a subway sandwhich made for home and in just 2 lunches i lost 3 lbs. For an herb sandwhich i grilled 1 stip of chicken on the geroge forman and put some oregano and light manyese. But if you do not want to pay for the bread just get a regular loaf of bread but grilled chickin and sum manyese and it will be very good. Hope i helped some of you just a little bit.

You will not have lost fat, you will have lost water. And if you continue loosing weight like this you will not lose fat but lean muscle and it make you ill. Diets like that were you lose weight that fast are stupid, dangerous and time-wasting because they allow you to pile the weight on and more when you have stopped dieting.
Your determination for dieting is good, keep it up, ppl like me hae no determination to diet what so-ever coz i just love foood tooooooooo much. Why dont you try a healthier diet and visit the gym rather than trying to loose weight that fast

Jemgaz, I totally disagree with you. When someone chages their eating from bad to good, it's natural to lose some water initially. That is not unhealthy. I think it's wrong for you to be so negative when someone decised to start eating healthier just because you don't think that you can do it. What is wrong with eathing grilled chicken sandwiches? How can that be unhealthy?
Cheerguh, I think the foods you are now eating are great. If you keep that up, you will probably continue to lose at about a pound per week, especially if you stay away from the greasy foods and get some exercise. Congratulations on finding a way to eat healthier. I encourage you to keep it up.

I think what Jemgaz is worried about is that the weight loss will continue to be water and muscle
The point about crash diets is valid, especially things like Atkins - but with them (again, especially Atkins) is that they are actually very efficient at getting you to lose the right sort of weight but people cheat/pile the pounds back on afterwards because they think it's a quick fix but they just get back up to their natural equilibrium weight
The weight-loss with these diets might be coupled with some form of illness because they are not balanced diets
The key to everything (in life, not just diets) is moderation
If you switch to a healthy balanced diet (not chargrilled chicken or salad sandwiches all day everyday) and take regular exercise then you will lose the weight. It will take time but it will be done in a healthy way with no area being neglected but instead each zone of your body, each muscle group and all that eventually becoming stronger and more efficient at the same time that you lose excess fat
As another thread said, however, it's all a battle with your mind - willpower is the key
Now I just have to practice what I preach, I need to lose about 5 stone (70lbs) so that I reach a weight that is consistent with my height and build (I'm 6'6" and I would say medium-high build, should weigh about 210lbs/15 stone but in fact weigh 280/20)
Then I'd like to put on a stone (14lbs) in muscle and lose about another 1/2 stone (7lbs) so that I'd end up weighing 15 1/2 stone (217lbs) but be quite lean and muscular - though not TOO muscular)
