Most dentist will give you a discount if you don't have insurance. It is best you have the abcess taken care of immediately, it can cause a multitude of problems with your health.

Please get it treated sooner than later, they can turn nasty. It will just keep on growing if left unchecked and could work its way into your bloodstream which is dangerous. They will also eat your jaw bone away.

Get on some antibiotics as soon as you can. Call around and talk to the Dental offices and tell them your situation and see if any are willing to help you out. If you are in the US there are often county Dental clinics. Find the address to one, drive there, go in and tell them you are in pain with an infection and tell them you have no insurance but can they please help you.

Often the county clinics have an income based sliding fee scale they work on.
