Hi,

I have had a localized pain on the left side of my upper-skull, in-line with my left ear and left eye, on and off for the past eight or so days. I have tried not to worry myself unnecessarily, but this morning I was woken up from my sleep by this same pain and it is becoming a concern.

I don't know where to post this, other than on this board, perhaps because stroke is something that does greatly concern me. I am currently on Amlopidine and overweight, but currently dieting. My BP averages around 110/65 with a pulse of around 65 as well, so I'm not sure if that can be linked to the first paragraph?

I don't have any other symptoms or issues but this localized, random stabbing attacks inside my head.

Can anyone suggest or advise on what may be happening? I have tried to find out about pre-stroke information i.e any warning signs prior to the actual event, but every time I type it into a search engine am linked straight to post-stroke information, which doesn't help.

Thanks,

Scout-
