I am a college freshman and have been sick since last November. I constantly have headaches and I get off and on fevers. I am extremely tired no matter how much I sleep and when I get really worn down I start to shake, and the other symptoms worsen. I have seen many doctors and been tested for so many things (lupus, mono, thyroid, CFS, etc) but they are all normal. I have even gone to the Cleveland Clinic - but nothing has been found. If any of you have any ideas, PLEASE let me know. Thanks

Hi, just noticed your post. After 7 years of being sick, i was diagnosed with CVID. Common Variable Immune Deficiency. Apparently it is genetic but was brought on by getting EBV & CMV [mono], as there are cases of adult onset, ie. you do not have to have the symptoms in childhood. I notice you mention you had the test for mono and it came up normal. I had the mono tests done several times over a two year period before they showed up positive. So I would urge you to have them re done again and possibly consult an immunologist. You can find more information on www.Immune (http://www.Immune) Deficiency Foundation.org or the Jeffrey Modell Foundation Foundation info@jmfworld.com

What blood results indicated that he had CVID? I am curious what bloodwork was done..was it a common test?
