View Full Version : Internal Numbness - please help

A few weeks ago after a binge, I felt short of breath, cold and nauseous. After a trip to the doctor I was told it was stress-related. But since then, I have become increasingly aware of something I mildly felt between the binge and the visit to the doctor but was too mild at the time for me to think of telling him about.
It is hard to describe: but it feels like the entire region situated around or possibly in the left kidney and its ureter feels completely numb, like it isn't even there. The outside I can feel fine, it is on the inside. I at one point thought the kidney had failed but realised through looking up the symptoms online that I would probably have been hospitalised for pain if that happened, but there were some sites saying that symptoms can be less noticeable and this is a special case because it is just the one kidney in question. If anyone has the knowledge to help me rule out what is probably paranoid idiocy in the first place that would be much appreciated. But the pressing queston is what this could be? If it helps, I'm 19, and have only drank on any serious level for a year. I'd mildly binge once a week and have nothing the other 6 days. Please help.
