my mother has had a virus for the past 6 weeks and has chronic fatigue. she had a slight temperature which is gone now. no headaches, swollen joints, or other pain. just chronic fatigue and now a rash all over her body (not her face) and her hands are a little shakey...also, her mouth is dry. the doctors say they have no idea what it is. her blood tests are normal. is it lupus? what could it be? please help - she is worried.

Did her doctor specify what type of viral infection she had? There are hundreds of different viruses, each with its own peculiarities.
