Take 2 grams (2,000mg) of Ester-C (esterified Vitamin C) every 2 hours until symptoms clear. This dose of Vitamin C should knock out that sore throat within a week! Ester-C will be easy on the stomach, as it is non-acidic. You can also take an echinacea/goldenseal combination for a period of 1 month. This will help build up your immune system. Good luck!
