Hi: My husband who was dx'ed with mild form of Diabetes II around 2001 and has been on meds., Simvastatin 20 mg. and Fortamet ER, one tab. each during day. For the past three years or so, his Anxiety gradually started to surface and has been on meds., Lexapro 10 mg. and Xanax, as well. Prior to taking Diabetic meds. his Anxiety never got on him to the point he needed meds, though he actually had Anxiety on and off basis. It seems his Diabetic meds. induced his Anxiety ever than before.

His Diabetec meds. have been truly helping his condition, however his Anxiety meds. are not completely beneficial to his condition, particularly during his unexpected, hectic or unfortunate occurences, even heated-political debate on TV

I'd appreciate it if any of you could offer any imputs on this, Diabetes II and Anxiety
